Ways To Encourage Your cats to Drink and Why You Should

Drinking water is especially important to your cats health. 75% of cats die of kidney disease. I think this is because in a natural environment cats get most of their moister from the blood of their prey. Feeding cats a diet of just dry food leads to them always being deficient of water, and dehydration is hard on the kidneys. Here are some suggestions to keep you cat healthy.
1. Water fountain water dish (cats love running water and it stays cleaner)
2. When you get yourself a drink put an ice cube in the water dish (cats love ice and cool water)
3. Feed your cat wet food at least once a day
4. Change your water once or twice a day cats love clean water

Breeze litter box system

We primarily use the breeze litter box system is our cattery. This system eliminates cat litter. The breeze system takes care of the cat litter in the paws, cat litter all over, and carrying all the heavy cat litter into the house and out to the curb.
Breeze has a hard pellet on the top and a pad in a pull out tray at the bottom. You just throw the pad n the trash once a week and scoop the poop once a day. We suggest a coffee can with a lid by the box for the poop. You can scoop the poop into it and throw it away when full.
Here is a link to the breeze system on amazon. You can also sign up for pads and pellets in the grocer section. The it is delivered to you how whne ever you say. I suggest you get a delivery once every 6 months and buy in bulk. There is not much to store and it will save you money.

vaccination article

Here is a great article on vaccinations. We will be trying the intranasal vaccines this year. The Heska vaccine requires fewer doses for kittens. Research shows the Heaska vaccine will start giving upper respiratory protection to kittens with in 4 days. A typical vaccine takes weeks to give protection. The other advantage to babies is no shots.

Nice blog!

I do like your blogpage - I had to take the color and pattern quiz until I got !00%!

I do believe you have the most beautiful persians available.
I had Harry - a flamepoint himmie - for 13 years. He was fabulous.

When he p***ed. I wanted a persian again but it was too soon. The perians I looked at reminded
me of Harry so I rescued a very beautiful young pregnant cat.

She delivered 6 gorgeous kittens - one was especially spectacular - a red/black shaded, longhair
with cl***ic tabby pattern. Her mother is a red/black cl***ic tabby BUT she has silver agouti color,
with white boots! Her legs have a crazy shading that is dilute - cream and blue spots. Bengal face.

The father is black tuxedo - all kittens were stunning - 3 red and white tabbys, and black particolor longhair
red solid with white boots , a red/black calico, the shaded longhair.

In another lifetime - I would love to see what you see - new beautiful babies.

kitten safety

It is important to have a safe home for your kitten. Kittens especially will taste and explore things they should not. It is important to make sure your home is kitten proof. There are somethings you might not even thinks of that can poison your cat such as Tylenol, onions, pot pourri etc.. Applying typical flea and tick preventions can be hazardous unless you use the appropriate products how they are supposed to be used. Here is a link to CFA websites article on cats and hazardous stuff. I found it to have useful extensive list on plant and substances that can be safe or dangerous to your baby.
